The Landward Limit of Construction for the Gasparilla Shore Protection Project is recorded with the Lee County Clerk of Courts as instrument 2016000096644. The line is also known as the +4.6 NGVD contour line reflected on survey sketches dated August 15,2000, and is referenced in several Department of Natural Resources Perpetual Beach Storm Damage Reduction easements for Gasparilla Island Beach Renourishment projects. The line was imported from an AutoCAD dwg file.The northern portion of the line is outside of the project limit but has been included as a historical reference about the shoreline condition at the time of the survey. The resource issues in that area (nearshore reefs) will preclude Natural Resources from expanding the project in that direction. |
